Description: Statement Avantgarde Bog-oak Pendant with Oxidised Sterling Silver Chain.

Material: Bog-oak. Most of the bog-oak we use is in the range of around 5-thousand-year-old. The Bog-oak is almost black, which is its natural colour due to a very old age. We do not use any chemicals to darken the wood. The only addition to the wood is organic olive oil we use for a final polish.

Chain: Oxidised or blackened silver. This chain is genuine Sterling Silver. We use a method to oxidise the chain, to achieve a surface dark patina. With time and wear, this darkened effect will slowly disappear, and silver will again shine through. Oxidised effect can be restored, and if you wish to do so, get in touch and we will provide this service free of charge.
