Description: Large Statement Bog-oak Pendant with Oxidised Sterling Silver Chain.
Statement, Lightweight, Geometric, Modern, Avantgarde, Alternative.

Material: Bog-oak. Most of the bog-oak we use is in the range of around 5-thousand-year-old. The Bog-oak is almost black, which is its natural colour due to a very old age. We do not use any chemicals to darken the wood. The only addition to the wood is organic olive oil we use for a final polish.

Chain: Oxidised or blackened silver. This chain is genuine Sterling Silver. We use a method to oxidise the chain, to achieve a surface dark patina. With time and wear, this darkened effect will slowly disappear, and silver will again shine through. Oxidised effect can be restored, and if you wish to do so, get in touch and we will provide this service free of charge.

Bog-oak pendant dimension: 110mm heigh x 23mm wide at the top, all pieces are handcrafted slight differences will occur.
Oxidised sterling silver chain: 700mm

The word Amulet comes from the Latin amulētum which means "an object to protect". Various forms of amulet can be seen in rituals throughout the world and in many cultures. While the forms they take are as diverse as their history,  their common purpose is to provide strength and peace of mind to the wearer.

The outer box is made from nearly 100% recycled boxboard.
The boxboard is made from FSC approved forests. 
Brochure and cards are printed on FSC approved paper.

Recyclable
The outer box is recyclable. 
Inserts are not recyclable yet in Ireland. When recycling the packaging please remove the insert. 
Brochure and cards can be recycled.
